If you are currently suffering with the pain of arthritis, then this may be the most important letter you ever read…
Every day that you suffer with the pain of arthritis is a day you could’ve enjoyed. When suffering with arthritis, just waking up in the morning is a chore.
Believe me, I know because I used to suffer from a severe arthritic condition. I’m all too familiar with the aching, swollen joints and having to run my hands under hot water for several minutes in the morning when I got up just to loosen them up a little.
After getting up in the morning, I would have to spend several minutes trying to "straighten out" from being in a bent over position.
Every moment that you live with pain, is a moment that is wasted. It’s gone forever, and you will never get it back. Suffering from arthritis makes you realize all the little things you took for granted– little things such as simply bending over to pick up a pencil off the floor. I would dread dropping something on the floor, knowing I had to pick it up. I knew the pain was going to be worse for those few seconds.
In 1998 I entered a national well-known bodybuilding contest. Now this contest was not for professional bodybuilders, but for ordinary people who would commit themselves to working out for a period of 3 to 4 months. The winner would be the one that had the most dramatic change.
This was a major turning point in my life. I learned lots of new things and I was excited about this contest. I took the challenge.
For the next 4 months I ate and drank healthy, took bodybuilding supplements, and worked out like I never had in my life.
In my enthusiasm, I over exerted myself. I pushed my body to the limit. And after I did, I pushed it some more. Every week my training partner and I would add more weight to our exercise routine.
In the end, I slashed my body fat while gaining several pounds of muscle. I had made a dramatic change. I had never felt better in my entire life. I was full of energy and I was on top of the world…………or so I thought.
Shortly after the four intense months of training and working out, I developed a pain in my elbow. I was so hardcore and hard pressed to continue, that I ignored the pain and kept going.
Well, one injury led to another, and the downward spiral began. It got to the point where I had to stop, regardless. Shortly after stopping, I developed chronic trauma from the massive punishment I put my body through, and then stopping all of a sudden.
It Was Like a Train Going 200 Miles Per Hour and Crashing Into a Steel Wall
The amount of weight I had been lifting for the past 4 months coupled with the sudden halt literally sent my body into shock. I developed a severe arthritic condition. After going to the doctor, he prescribed me some medication with steroids to ease the pain and reduce the swelling.
At first it helped, but it quickly wore off. At this point in my life I was already aware of the dangers of prescription medications and drugs containing steroids and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs)
I have nothing against doctors, but I don’t like them. The sad fact is that most of the time, you will not get well, but worse after visiting the doctor and taking dangerous medication. Sure, you may feel well afterwards, but over time those medications will weaken your immune system.
I never went back to the doctor. I knew that there had to be a safe, natural, alternative to taking medication that I knew was going to affect me in the long run. At first I thought I would just ride it out, thinking that the pain would go away.
The pain was so bad and my body so stiff, that at the young age of 23, I felt like a 90 year-old man! Sleeping brought no comfort as it hurt to just lay there! Pain relievers became my best friend. I started taking Alleve just about every day despite the fact that I knew it was harmful. (You’ll learn more about the dangers of so called "safe" over-the-counter medicines in my book).
The pain relievers would not last long, though. Many nights I would pray to God for Him to just take me and end my suffering. It was that bad.
Eventually the time went by, and six years had passed. I realized that the pain was not going to go away. I had to do something. Fast.(In the book, I’ll give you the details of my personal struggle that I have not revealed to anyone, including my own family, until now).
"Thank you sooooo much for this! I have to admit that I was skeptical at first and I actually didn’t even try the program until several weeks later but I’m glad I did. I suffered from severe pain in my hips and knees and I am no longer on medication. Your guide was very informative especially on the dangers of "ordinary" over the counter medications. Thanks again!"
I began searching for information on natural remedies, alternative medicine, and anything I could find. I had actually tried searching for this information years before, and found nothing relevant.
Then one day I found a source of information that led to another source, and so on. It was the break I had been looking for! Despite having read over and over that arthritis was "incurable" and that people with arthritis had to learn to live with it for the rest of their lives, I found hope. Out of all the informational sources I found, I learned that people with arthritis had been curing themselves all these years!
What I learned was that there were four (4) different methods that were used… Read more…
